By creating an account, accessing or using SL Mentor AI, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and accepted these terms on your behalf. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

SL Mentor AI provides AI-assisted learning for school students, including guided lessons, an AI teacher chat, adaptive practice, quizzes and marking, past-paper preparation, homework photo help, voice interaction, study plans, revision recommendations, progress tracking and optional parent insights. Content is aligned to the Sri Lankan Grade 10 and Grade 11 curriculum and is offered in English, Sinhala, Tamil and mixed language modes.

• Provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your password confidential and do not share your account with others.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately at support@slmentorai.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
• One account is intended for one student unless you hold an organisation or institution plan.

The service is intended for school students, parents, guardians and educators. Users under 16 should use SL Mentor AI with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian. Purchases and subscriptions must be made by a person legally able to enter into a contract.

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for anything unlawful, harmful, abusive, hateful or sexually explicit.
• Attempt to bypass usage limits, credits, subscription gates, rate limits or security controls.
• Scrape, copy, resell or redistribute curriculum content, questions or AI responses.
• Reverse engineer, disrupt or overload the platform or its infrastructure.
• Share account access, credentials or paid content with people outside your subscription.
• Submit content that infringes the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
• Use the platform to cheat in an examination or to violate the rules of your school or examination body.

Explanations, hints, worked steps, quizzes, marking feedback and voice responses are generated by artificial intelligence. They are provided for learning support only and are not a substitute for your school, teacher, official syllabus material or examination authority guidance. SL Mentor AI does not guarantee any particular examination result or grade.

AI systems can make mistakes. Answers, marking and generated content may occasionally be incomplete, outdated or incorrect, particularly for complex or ambiguous questions, unclear photographs, or noisy voice input. Always verify important answers against your textbook, teacher or official past-paper marking scheme. You use AI-generated content at your own discretion.

The SL Mentor AI name, logo, software, design, curriculum structure and original content are owned by SL Mentor AI and protected by applicable law. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the platform for your own study while your account is in good standing. Content you submit remains yours; you grant us a licence to process it solely to provide and improve the service as described in our Privacy Policy.

• Free access and any trial period are offered with limited usage allowances.
• Paid plans are billed in Sri Lankan Rupees through our payment partner, PayHere.
• Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until cancelled, unless stated otherwise at checkout.
• Prices, plan features and usage limits may change; we will give notice before a change affects your renewal.
• Applicable taxes and payment gateway rules may apply.
• Cancellations and refunds are handled under our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, abuses usage limits, attempts fraud or chargeback abuse, or puts the platform or other users at risk. Where reasonable we will notify you first. You may close your account at any time from your settings or by contacting support.

We aim for reliable, continuous availability, but the service is provided on an "as available" basis. Maintenance, upgrades, third-party outages, connectivity issues or events beyond our control may interrupt access. Individual AI features may be temporarily unavailable or rate-limited.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SL Mentor AI is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, loss of data, lost opportunities or examination outcomes arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to SL Mentor AI in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

We may add, modify or remove features, and we may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with its "Last updated" date. Material changes will be notified by email or an in-app notice. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Sri Lanka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
